We're doing it again!

Last summer we had a fabulous trip!  So many different experiences, sights seen and places visited.  More than a few people I know have become worried about my sanity, spending 3 weeks in a vehicle with two teenagers (sometimes, I wonder myself)!  We are going in the opposite direction this year, to the West Coast, to dip our toes into the Pacific Ocean this time.  There are a few changes, most particularly a new vehicle.  Vincent did his best, but the trip was too much for him, so we have had to retire him (especially since he had stopped accelerating most of the time).  So, enter Jeremiah the Jeep!  This will be his inaugural run, and quite a run it will be.  We are starting off in Drumheller, to re-visit the Royal Tyrell Museum.  It has been years since we were last there, and we all just loved going there.  Then, back down through our old hometown, High River, past the Frank Slide (where both kids spent the night on various school trips) through Osoyoos (where I spent my 5th?? birthday) to Vancouver and the Island.  Then, we are going to take a ferry down into the US, and meet up with the children's friend in Seattle.  After checking out Mt. St. Helens, we are off to San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Riverside, Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, Mount Rushmore and Minden, Nebraska.  Nebraska?  Is there actually anything in Nebraska other than corn?  Absolutely, there is one of the most amazing collections of modern American history!  Then we will be heading home and back to the real world.  Departure is in two weeks, so lots to do before then!
